Public Education

Throughout its 20-year history, your museum has remained dedicated to increasing accessibility for all learners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. The free, publicly accessible garden space will enable all visitors to Downtown Lynchburg to experience Amazement Square.

Research shows that greener communities can improve the quality of life for residents. Amazement Square's Educational Garden will serve as an immersive retreat for all alongside the Blackwater Creek Trail.

Pollinator Habitat

In 2019, the City of Lynchburg became the second city in VA to be declared a Bee City by the Xerces Society. Your museum is proud to support the continued expansion of its pollinator habitat.
