STEAMpowered Workshops

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics and is essential to providing children 21st century skills! Our STEAMpowered Workshops are intensive, ninety minute experiences that enrich participants with a variety of specific skills. Each session features personalized facilitation and meticulous instruction on a number of engaging subjects that range from robotics to printmaking. Each workshop will feature a different theme and project to explore.

Join us in The Hive makerspace!

Workshops are $5.00 per child and include all supplies and materials.

PLEASE NOTE: All STEAMpowered Workshops take place in The Hive makerspace located in our new Genworth Education Center. Museum admission is not required to participate in a Workshop; if you wish to visit the museum as well, please check-in at the Front Desk.
