 Everyone is Special

Amazement Square is proud to provide visual arts programming to special needs classrooms in the Lynchburg area.  Learn more about this VSA program provided under a contract with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Pricing and Additional Information:

Chaperones: One chaperone per five students is required. These chaperones receive free admission. Chaperones exceeding the 1:5 ratio are subject to a charge of $7 per person. If the minimum 1:5 ratio is not met, a $20/hour fee will be added. Chaperones are required to stay with their students at all times and monitor their behavior.

Sponsored Admission: Reduced admission prices are available for schools with 50% or more of students on free and/or reduced lunch. Scholarship funds for reduced admission are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. For questions about sponsored admission for schools and to find out if your classroom qualifies, please contact education@amazementsquare.org.

Lunch Room Rental: Although the museum does not sell meals on site, students may bring their own bagged lunch to eat in one of the museum’s two designated dining spaces. Room rental starts at $25 with an additional $1 per person for groups of more than 25 students. Lunch sessions are limited to 30 minutes each. Please be sure to schedule your lunch rental in advance as they are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. A $15 late fee will be charged if the room is requested on the day of your visit.
