On your next visit to the museum, make sure you stop by and check out the new look of the Kidz Warehouse...and Café!  In conjunction with our Year of Authors Programming, the museum shop will be highlighting our monthly authors with themed merchandise and promoting reading in everyday life.  We’ve got something for everyone with our monthly Warehouse and Cafe specials!

May - May and Margaret Wise Brown are all about toddlers!  Pick up a Toddler Hunt at the front desk, complete the hunt in our Big Red Barn toddler gallery, and take your completed hunt to the Kidz Warehouse for a Big Red Barn prize.  Come to Toddler Tales on Tuesdays at 1:00 and adults receive a coupon for a free cup of coffee!

Who says shopping can't be an educational hobby? Take shopping to a whole new level and visit the Kidz Warehouse Museum Shop where you'll find innovative toys, games, puzzles and books that seamlessly blend learning and fun for children of all ages. A purchase in the museum shop is the perfect way to support Amazement Square, as all proceeds support the museum's wide array of educational in-house and outreach programs.

Don't have enough time to enjoy the playful environment of the museum? Don't worry, admission is not required to explore the museum shop, so stop in and find out more about our gift registry, member discount, gift certificates and much, much more!

We don't know about you, but we think shopping for the perfect birthday gift is a challenge! And searching for old receipts to return gifts is even more of a challenge! That's why we've decided to make birthdays worry-free and put the fun back into your son or daughter's special day! With the museum shop's new Gift Registry, your child can explore the Kidz Warehouse, choose his/her favorite items, then all you have to do is fill out a registry form so that friends and family will know exactly what he/she wants.

Worn out from sailing boats down the James River all morning?  Need a boost of energy before heading back into the tower for the afternoon?   Now you don’t even have to leave Amazement Square to take a snack break.  The Kidz Warehouse now offers snacks, drinks, and hot lunches.  You’ll find hot lunch items such as chicken and cheese quesadillas, ham & cheese Hot Pockets, and pepperoni pizza singles.  To compliment your lunch pick up your cold drinks and snack items such as fruit snacks, Ritz Bitz crackers, or Baked Lays.  And to get you through those early morning school tours or late afternoon play groups, stop by the Kidz Warehouse to pick up your cup of Starbucks coffee.  We have something for everyone!

In order to ensure the safety of all guests, please enjoy all food and drink in the lobby area or at one of the benches outside.  When you’re finished, remember to be kind and dispose of all trash in the trash bins in the lobby!
