As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization, Amazement Square depends on contributions from donors like you to provide educational experiences that inspire creativity and curiosity to our region’s families. Admission and membership fees cover less than 50% of the Museum’s annual operating expenses. Your gift helps to cover essential operating expenses like program supplies, exhibits and public programs, school programs for low-income students, outreach to schools, maintenance of our award-winning facilities and much more!
For as little as $25 you can provide SOL-based programming for a student, sponsor a scholarship for local youth to attend a summer workshop, or sponsor a family to enjoy the museum who would not otherwise be able to visit.

+ Gifts of Stock
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to Amazement Square. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.
