Sponsored Admission Program in Lynchburg, VA

The Sponsored Admission Program was established to help the museum fulfill its mission to be accessible to ALL community members. Amazement Square’s Sponsored Admission Program provides funding for Family Fun Night, Amazing Adventures School Programs and sponsored groups for programs, summer camps and admission.

Family Fun Night

Family Fun NightFamily Fun Night is a once-monthly event when museum admission is reduced to $3 (from $9.75). Family Fun Night takes place from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on the second Saturday of every month and is open to the general public.

Amazing Adventures School Programs

School ProgramThe Sponsored Admission Program allows schools to participate in the Standards of Learning-based Amazing Adventures School Programs at a reduced rate if the student body demonstrates need.

Museums for All

museumsforallebt-cardThe Museums for All program allows any family who participates in SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition  Assistance Program, to qualify for a general admission rate of $3 per person. This admission fee is available during all open hours with presentation of an active EBT (electronic benefits transfer) card, and is valid for groups of up to 4 people.

Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Association of Children’s Museum (ACM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to offer a standardized, signature access program that encourages families of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits.
