Annual Riverfront Chalk Festival

On August 20th, 2016, the downtown parking lot, home to the CityArts Mosaic Mural, also known as Parking Lot “N”, hosted Amazement Square’s 2nd Annual Riverfront Chalk Festival, where artists of all ages, backgrounds and abilities brought this parking lot to life, creating colorful chalk masterpieces and competing for coveted prizes.

In addition to the chalk art, the community soaked up the last moments of summer with a downtown block party at Amazement Square featuring various summer activities: food trucks, crafts, and games! Amazement Square also opened its doors for just $5 per person ALL DAY!

This festival was made possible through the generous support and volunteers from American National Bank & Trust Company.

Thank you to all the artists and attendants that participated in Amazement Square’s 2nd Annual Riverfront Chalk Festival!
