Ancient Egypt: Life and Afterlife on the Nile
Developed by Amazement Square, this hands-on interactive exhibition explores everyday life and afterlife in ancient Egypt and the role the Nile played in making Egypt prosperous and uniquely stable in the ancient world for almost three thousand years! Visitors will have the opportunity to dress as Egyptian royalty, fish from an ancient boat, learn about life on the Nile, assist with the process of a pharaoh’s mummification, explore King Tut’s tomb, and learn about Egyptian hieroglyphs in this engaging exhibition.
